Miranda Oldroyd.  Molly Vollmer.  Jen Zambruno. – Together we were the women of Team NorCal that competed at the 2105 CrossFit Games…and were winning…until I tore my damn knee.

But, more than teammates – these girls are my best friends.  We hadn’t trained together since we had been on the floor at the Games.  Getting the band back together felt so good and reminded me why our team had so much fun – and why we were so successful.

Workouts went down over at CrossFit Chalk, and we were joined by Julian Alcaraz, Ryan Fischer and Nikki Leonard.  This little gathering inspired us to do many more.  The NorCal crew of ladies will be seen together a lot more soon!
